THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD
A Sunday School teacher decided to have her young class memorize one of the most quoted passages in the Bible; Psalm 23. She gave the youngsters a month to learn the chapter. Little Rick was excited about the task--but, he just couldn't remember the Psalm. After much practice, he could barely get past the first line. On the day that the kids were scheduled to recite Psalm 23 in front of the congregation, Ricky was so nervous when it was his turn, he stepped up to the microphone and said proudly, "The Lord is my Shepherd, and that's all I need to know."

Youth Sunday - Name Tag Day - Pot Luck
Please join us in celebrating Youth Sunday, May 18, 2008.
Graduating senior Sarah Grant will address the congregation at the 10:30 service.
Name tags will be available for everyone that day,
providing an opportunity to learn the names of St. Columb’s newcomers and to identify yourself to others.
Please plan to stay for fellowship and a pot luck meal following the 10:30 service.

New Parish Directory
We will be publishing a new church directory.
Please take a few moments to complete a new information form and return it to the church office by June 2nd. Please let us know of home phone, cellular phone or email address changes.
We ask that you list all members in the household along with birthdays for each member. We also ask that you list wedding anniversaries where applicable.
Forms are available on the table in the narthex.
