Habitat for Humanity

This organization builds homes for people who are willing to work to help themselves. Recipients who have established job security and good credit, but who live in substandard or inadequate housing due to income constraints, may qualify. The homes are not given away. Instead, the recipient family works hundreds of hours alongside volunteers and professionals to build the home. Then, the home is sold and financed (at no interest) to the recipients.
