Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) at St. Columb’s includes program offerings for teenagers in the 6th through 12th grades. Not formal classroom events, EYC activities range from trips to trivia and mission work. Join us for fellowship and fun!

Happening
The Happening experience is a renewal weekend in which one’s spirituality is explored, developed and shared in community with others. The teachings of Christ are discussed throughout the weekend in large and small groups along with music, fun and fellowship. The weekend is put on by teenagers for Senior High youth in grades 10 – 12. See www.happeninginmississippi.com for more information.

Reunion
Happening Reunion is a chance for former Happeners to gather and share in the Happening experience and deepen their Christian life as they serve newcomers to the program.

Vocare
Vocare is a renewal instrument in the church for young adults ages 19 – 30. Through the focus on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ, this program provides a way through which one’s spirituality may be developed, nurtured, lived and shared in fellowship and community with others. Vocare – “to call” – “Let yourself hear Christ’s call.”

Division of Youth (DOY)
DOY occurs twice a year and is divided into two sessions each time: Junior High (6 – 8th grades) and Senior High (9 – 12th grades). This is a great introduction to camp life and diocesan activities for those who have not been involved before. DOY is a theme-based weekend with an opportunity to explore our spiritual journeys.

Winter Solstice
Come enjoy camp in the winter! Winter Solstice is open to Senior High youth and is a camp-like week in mid-winter. The week includes activities, songs, play and a big New Year’s Eve Dance to celebrate the new year.
