6 weeks through four years old
- St. Columb’s Nursery
- The nursery consists of three rooms, which accommodates infants through toddlers ages 3 to 4.
- Nursery care is available on Sundays beginning at 9:00 a.m. Nursery care is also available for selected parish days and programs; these days are announced prior to the event.
Pre-school, Kindergarten, 1st grades
- This program also known as “Godly Play” teaches children the art of using religious language – parable, sacred story, silence and liturgical action – helping them become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives.
- Led by: Alicia Ferguson
2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades
- The program for this age group is rooted in the Bible and the liturgy of the church. The program includes themes of Creation, the Kingdom of God, the Holy Bible, the Altar, and the Good Shepherd. Bible stories from the Old Testament and seasonal church lessons on Advent, Christmas and Lent complement the curriculum.
- Led by: Irene Underwood
5th through 12th grades
- Join us as we engage and inspire the energy and imagination of these ages to seek knowledge from the Bible, Church tradition, science, technology, outreach projects and the arts. A variety of resources encourages students at each grade level to deepen their spirituality and to encourage a strong sense of self.
- Led by: Christy Howell, Robin Gourley, and Father Jason Shelby
Adults
- Adult offerings include a curriculum in which to explore issues of faith and spirituality. Offerings include Bible and book studies, current events and their relationship to our faith life, discussion groups and topics as suggested by class members and leaders.
- Led by: Father Brian Seage, Father Jason Shelby, Barry Howell, and John Passons
